It's been an up and down year for the Houston Rockets, but Tuesday night against the Golden State Warriors fans got a taste of what the future could look like.
Houston spanked the Warriors 140-109, but the score wasn't the big story. It was how they got there. The Rockets hit 23 3-pointers to tie an NBA record (set by the Orlando Magic back in 2009). Jeremy Lin hit a career high five three pointers, James Harden and Chandler Parsons both hit four to lead the way.
They actually had a chance to break the record. Donatas Moteijunas hit No. 23 with just under four minutes left to play, but the Warriors resorted to fouling to keep Houston from making No. 24.
