Jeremy Lin last season was an amazing sensation for the New York Knicks, but things have slowed down a bit for the budding star. As a Houston Rocket he learned how it felt to be a starting point guard for the entire season, and there were some bumps in the road for the star. Lin had looked spectacular, average, and even abysmal at times. So what are some of the things going in the off-season he can improve on?
The Good
Lin played and started in every game for the Rockets this regular season, which is a good sign after having knee surgery around this time last year. His game blended well with the Rocket’s superstar James Harden and he ran the team at a solid rate. Lin averaged six assists this season and 13 points; hardly All-Star numbers but still very solid for the Rocket’s situation. The team is very young and was incorporating a lot of new players. He shot 44% from the field and averaged close to two steals a game with 1.6 and his turnovers were also down from last season (3.6 to 2.9)...
