Toronto Maple Leafs Fan Holds Up 'Toronto Stronger' Sign

It is a good thing that Monday night's playoff game between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs is in another country. Otherwise one really stupid fan would be in a whole lot of trouble following the game.

For some odd reason this fan (whom I am sure we will have a name for by the end of the night) decided he was going to mock the 'Boston Strong' slogan that has been used as a rally cry for the City of Boston following the bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

An argument could be made that he means no disrespect, but that he is just saying while Boston is strong that Toronto is stronger.

Had it been a slogan that the Bruins had been using all season I would see nothing wrong with it. When it comes to things team-specific its no-holds barred. However, when it comes to something that is meant to be uplifting to those that just experienced a domestic terrorist attack and an intense manhunt?

Yeah, bad idea Toronto fan. Bad idea.

Incidentally--at the time this post was written the Bruins held a 4-2 lead over the Leafs with six minutes to go in the third period (series tied at 1-1).
