Nike Breaks Out the Special Edition Shoes in Honor of LeBron James's Fourth MVP

Any time something about shoes comes up there will be a generation of people (like mine) that will always think first and foremost of a young Spike Lee asking-- is it the shoes? The story wasn't about the shoes way back then, but it certainly is now.

In honor of the LeBron James and his fourth MVP award Nike created these special edition kicks (yeah, I said kicks; that's still cool right?) for the man, the myth, the legend--King James.

Nike, Inc.

LeBron had these colorful shoes on for Game 1 of the semifinal series with the Chicago Bulls Monday night.

They didn't help him find the pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow though. Chicago went on a 10-0 run to end the game and steal a win in Miami 93-86. LeBron had an okay night with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, but the rest of the team didn't really help much.

Maybe they need some rainbow shoes too.
