No Class Miami Heat Fan Revealed!

Depending on your perspective the play of the Chicago Bulls Friday night was either really bad or the Miami Heat just played really well--or the more likely answer is it was both. As a result, after a competitive first half the game looked like one long highlight reel for the Miami Heat.

That kind of game should make fans proud to be, well--fans. What it doesn't do is make it okay for them to act like Filomena Tobias did when Joakim Noah was ejected.

The security guard is thinking much like the rest of us: Joakim, go ahead and smack her boyfriend and tell her to shut the *&%^ up. This woman is embarrassing.

This is a perfect example of what not to do when you are at a game. There is this little thing called sportsmanship and respect. We expect the players to practice it and we should expect the fans to practice it is as well. To behave like this isn't just childish and embarrassing--it's kind of sad.

In this day and age it is never hard to figure out who someone is in a picture. There is bound to be someone somewhere on the World Wide Web that will know who someone is.

So when Victoria Racanati was reached via phone by the Sun-Sentinel she had some interesting things to say:
“Yes, it’s my mom. She’s embarrassed, but she is being a good sport,” said her daughter on Thursday. “She was having fun just like any other fan. All she has to say is that people need to get a life.”
It's good to know she is embarrassed because she should be. However, to call her a good sport? Does her daughter know what she did? There is nothing sporting about her actions. If that is how she has fun--being profane--then she needs to get a life.

Passionate Miami Heat fans? Nah--that excuse doesn't fly either. The act is more childish than it is passionate.

Have a little self respect Ms. Tobias. Oh--and the 'just like any other fan' excuse does not work. If they were all jumping off a building would you jump too?
