I'll give them points for being different then pretty much every other baseball team out there, but maybe--just maybe--the money could have gone to scouting better players? That way the games are better?

Pittsburgh Pirates Entertaining 'SNL-Style' Lineup Video
It has been a long time since the Pittsburgh Pirate fan base has had a lot to cheer about. Maybe that is why the Pirates opted to announce their lineup in a rather creative way fashioned after Saturday Night Live's opening credits.
I'll give them points for being different then pretty much every other baseball team out there, but maybe--just maybe--the money could have gone to scouting better players? That way the games are better?
