Arizona Cardinals Have a Secret Weapon

The Cardinals were in the Super Bowl not too long ago, but it no time at all the team went from being a contender to bottoming out and becoming a door mat for the rest of the league.

That is all going to change this season. Not only do they have a new head coach in Bruce Airians, a new running back in Rashad Mendhall (and more importantly his replacement in Stepfan Taylor), and a new quarterback in Carson Palmer--these guys have a secret weapon.

This guy. Robert Gill.

In case you haven't noticed from the video where he runs at 25 miles per hour (yeah, it was just a few seconds, but do you know anyone else that can do that without getting hurt?), but this man is fast. Not just fast--lightning fast.

At 29 he is a bit old for a rookie, but the Cardinals saw enough to convince them to sign him to a three-year deal. He played wide receiver for Texas State and has bounced around the Arena Football League and the Canadian League the last few years.

But even if he just returns kicks his potential impact on the game could be huge.

Than again, from the looks of this video from a 2011 AFL game he is heck of a wide receiver too!
