Drama in Dallas Now Over for Cowboys?

The city of Dallas is the inspiration behind a popular television show of the same name, but with all the drama that surrounds the city’s football team you have to wonder if there should be a reality show. Whether it’s legal issues or Jerry Jones being Jerry or Tony Romo’s involvement with the game plan it seems as if there is a never ending stream of reality show fodder being generated.



Take the recent drama that appears to have now ended concerning who is going to be calling the plays on offense this coming season. Up until last week the official word has been that it was being discussed, but then Jones and offensive coordinator Bill Callahan stated the duty was falling to Callahan.

Sounds pretty easy, right? It would have been had Jason Garrett just confirmed what Jones and Callahan had said. Instead he refused to even discuss the matter with the media, which of course makes the media want to talk about it even more.

Garrett has now stated that play-calling duties will no longer be his, but will go to Callahan. However, what was interesting about his admission was the way he worded it.
