New York City Making Some Tremendous Plans to Entertain Fans on 'Super Bowl Boulevard'

There are plenty of people that have questioned the intelligence behind playing the Super Bowl in a cold weather climate like the New York/New Jersey area. Should it get hit by a snowstorm in the days prior to the game or the day of--well, those freezing cold seats are going to seem real, real expensive!

As if they already aren't...

However, by having the Super Bowl in the 'City That Never Sleeps' the NFL is banking on one heck of a show being put on for fans in the days prior to the game. By the looks of a video that the New York Daily News has posted to their site (along with some artist's renderings) NYC is not going to disappoint!

Indianapolis's zip-line was pretty popular. I can only imagine how cool the 180 foot long toboggan slide in the middle of Broadway is going to be!

Yeah, the cold weather might be a real potential bummer, but it sure looks like the planning committee is going to make sure that fans are going to be too busy enjoying the sites to realize how cold they are!

Although I do not envy driving in the city while the NFL takes over about 10 blocks of Broadway...

Does this look awesome or what?
