Going...Going...Gone! Pittsburgh's Garrett Jones Launches One Into the River!

Fans in Pittsburgh have had plenty to cheer about so far this season. Their team is in second in the division, 2.5 games out of first, 13 games over .500, and well--playing some pretty good baseball.

Their latest win came Sunday, 5-4 over division rival Cincinnnati. Key in the victory was this  2-run blast by Garrett Jones late in the game. It wasn't just any blast though. This sucker was hit so hard it travelled 468 feet, left the stadium, and  landed in the river!

It was the first time that a Pirate knocked one into the river and the first time anyone has since 2002!
