It's been rough for the Astros at times this season--except when it comes to playing their new division rivals, the Los Angeles Angels. On Sunday they faced off with the Angels looking for the sweep and their sixth win in nine games against their new division rivals.
With former Texas Ranger C.J. Wilson on the mound for the Angelsthat should have not been an easy task. However, the Astros have had his number this season beating him the last time they faced him after losing the last five times.
They got the better of him this time as well with Carlos Pena and Carlos Corporan hitting homers off Wilson to lead the team to a 5-4 win.
"It says that we can beat anybody in this league. If we can compete with the Angels, then we can compete with anybody," reliever Hector Ambriz said after getting the save. "...You've got to respect what they can do, but we've got to respect our stuff, too."And yes sports fans. With that win--their fifth in a row--the Astros are streaking!
