Patriots Starting to Distance The Team From Aaron Hernandez

The writing is on the wall. New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has done something wrong. We know it. He knows it. The authorities know it (but are still working on what exactly they can prove). Apparently the Patriots organization knows it too--because they don't want him around.

In spite of all the legal issues surrounding Hernandez he thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and report for work--as if there was nothing wrong, right? However, when he arrived at Gillette Stadium on Thursday he was met by team officials inside of the stadium and told him to leave.

According to a team spokesperson they were not even sure why he was there since no coaches were on the premises at the time.

There are a few different ways this could be taken:

1. The team is trying to put a little distance between it and Hernandez to minimize damage from the eventual fall out.

2. Without coaches there they would have turned anyone away so it wasn't just because it was Hernandez.

3. The team told him to leave because he needs to focus on the legal mess at hand and not worry about football right now.

Whatever the reason the evidence--circumstantial or not--is building up pretty quick against the young tight end.
