Ole Miss and Vanderbilt Show Us Why SEC Football Rocks!

The first couple weeks of the college football season is typically chock full of some pretty crappy games as teams try to work out the kinks and in some cases make themselves look better than they are.

Not Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. The two SEC teams opened the season against each other Thursday night in an awesome game that saw Ole Miss come out ahead 39-35 thanks to this 75-yard run by running back Jeff Scott.

If this is just a taste of what the SEC is going to have for college football fans than I can see why many consider it the best conference in college football. Both teams made great plays when they needed to and deserved to win, but only one can of course.

While the scoreboard did end in Ole Miss's favor the real winner in this one was the fans. Football is back folks, and it is only going to get better!
