Fat Five Report: Five Biggest Plays From Week 2 of College Football Action

I believe it was the late, great Vince Lombardi that said "great players make great plays." Either that or I'm going a little crazy and remembering some line in some movie that fits the theme of this post--the five fattest plays from Week Two of College Football action.

The purpose of this post is to recognize the huge plays; the ones where the best athletes in the game flex their muscles and show us why they are just that-- the best in the land.

Like the 52 yard bomb from Miami's Stephen Morris to Phillip Dorsett for the touchdown you see above,, and the scamper by Oregon Ducks QB Marcus Mariota below.

I don't there was a bigger play than this Aaron Murray pass to Justin Scott-Wesley that went 85-yards for the touchdown to put South Carolina away.

Virginia was over-matched agains the Ducks, but that didn't matter to Cavaliers running back Khalek Shepherd when he powered through and than ran away from the Oregon D for the 45-yard TD run.

My big play of the day has to be this 61-yard touchdown pass from Michigan QB Devin Gardner to wide receiver Jeremy Gallon. The pass and catch was nice, but you have to love the broken tackles that kept the play alive!
