Pittsburgh Steelers Lose Center Maurkice Pouncey For the Season

The day started well for the Pittsburgh Steelers when Tennessee return man Darius Reynaud brain-farted and gave the Steelers two points on the opening kickoff, but it was all down hill from there. The Steelers looked pretty bad through out the day and ended up losing to the Titans 16-9.

While the early season loss would be pretty easy to recover from the loss of All-Pro center Maurkice Pouncey will be a lot harder to handle. Early in the game his knee got rolled up on by guard David DeCastro. As luck would have it--bad luck, that is--he suffered an ACL and MCL injury and is out for the season.

    Look at the video again even Gilbert is trying to sideways cut the defender's knees . I hope this isn't what they are calling zone blocking. This is a bunch of bull crap expect more players on both sides to get hurt if this keeps going on.

    What a F#$!ing IDOIT!!!! That's the worst blocking I've ever seen. That what a ten year old does. 1st round draft pick give me a break. Decastro sucks and the rest of the lineman are right behind him. If ben wasn't able to move around he would have been sacked 5 more times.

    If you look close DeCastro got tripped by the right tackle #77. His right foot gets covered by #77's left and he stumble & falls into Pouncey.
