Has Kliff Kingsbury Done it Again?

They say lightning doesn’t strike twice, but it looks like Kliff Kingsbury might have made it happen when he chose Baker Mayfield to be his starter.

When Baker Mayfield was named QB1 for the Texas Tech Red Raiders people likely had two reactions: who the heck is he and what the heck is Kliff Kingsbury thinking?

Once the initial shock wore off fans (hopefully) remembered who they had making the decisions; one of their own, a former Red Raider stand-out, and the offensive coordinator that guided a red-shirt freshman that was also an unknown to the Heisman trophy.

In Kingsbury we trust? Initial responses might have been a little tentative, but after Friday night how can you not say yes?
