Tennessee Volunteers Play Like a No. 1 Fantasy Defense

This is the kind of thing that can happen when a quality team like the Tennessee Volunteers plays a lower tier team like the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. The Vols should destroy the Hilltoppers--and they did 52-20. Little did anyone know that the defense would put the game away almost on their own!

It was the kind of sequence that a coach dreams about and dreads happening all at the same time. You dream that you are fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of it, but dread the possibility that it could be your team that gives up five turnovers in six plays.

Yes, you read that right-- six plays for WKU generated five turnovers--two returned for touchdowns!

The Volunteers are off to a nice start this season with a pair of wins, all be it over pretty easy competition so it is hard to judge just how good they actually are. Fans will get a real test the next two weeks with road games against the Oregon Ducks and Florida Gators.
