Earlier this week Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban expressed his dissatisfaction with the student body for leaving games early. His obvious displeasure has helped fuel speculation that he might be thinking of jumping ship and headed to Texas next season (it doesn't help that his wife was busted looking at houses there; no one vacations in Austin Mrs. Saban).
The university has suspended block seating for 20 student organizations (not sure how that is going to help). One fan at the game proposed a solution to the attendance issues plaguing the defending national champions:
Tracy Wolfson is nuts if she thinks Nick Saban is going to Texas. His wife might have been house-hunting in Austin because they like Austin City Limits and the history of Austin. Lord knows they have enough money to afford a second (and third and fourth) home.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Wolfson print that except to stir up trouble in the rumor mill ?
And by the way Tracy, where _do people vacation ? Its a safe bet they vacation all over so Austin is not a stretch for a vacation spot.
Talk about something you actually have facts on, Wolfson.
Also, I just read the latest from Nick Saban from yesterday, iterating he was too old to move somewhere else, Miss Terry loves it in Tuscaloosa, and he was going to continue to build the program with recruits for their personal, academic and physical (football) education.
ReplyDeleteDoes that sound like Nick and Miss Terry are moving to Austin (or anywhere else) ?
So input your search engine on your tablet PC with that prompt, Tracy Wolfson, and see what pops up.
