The Boston Red Sox had a number of players step in during the World Series, but there were two guys that stood out to me--closer Koji Uehara and David Oritz. Both guys were tremendous throughout the series, but in the end the hardware goes to Big Papi.
When you hit .688, have an on base percentage of .760, and a slugging one of 1.188 it is safe to say that MVP honors are deserved! Congratulations Big Papi!
