Miami Losing Brandon Gibson for the Season?

The Miami Dolphins believe they have the pieces they need in order to be competitive, and with the way they are pushing the New England Patriots I think it is safe to say that is true. However, it looks like they are going to lose one of those pieces for the rest of the season.

Wide receiver Brandon Gibson has a torn patella tendon in his knee. Yep 'Fins fans that's a season ender.

From Bleacher Report
Gibson has been a good role-player for the Dolphins. His number are not eye-popping (29 catches for 322 yards and two TDs going into Sunday's game), but he gives the team a dependable threat opposite of Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline.

He had one catch for a four-yard touchdown before getting hurt and leaving the game.
