Oklahoma Football Twitter Account Keeps it Classy (not really) After Upset Win Over Texas Tech

In case you missed it, the game between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Oklahoma Sooners was one of the best ones of the season so far. It was just a great back and forth battle of two great offenses with young quarterbacks at the helm, and fantastic plays from a number of players on both teams.

So why in the world did the Sooners Twitter account have to get stupid and childish?

Come on Sooners! That was just plain dumb. Normally we talk about teams being sore losers, but that is the definition of a sore winner. Act like you've been to the winner's circle before (because we all know you have).

Someone must have eventually wised up; the tweet was deleted, but in this day and age once something is created online it never truly dies.

I will not be surprised if this little slight is brought back up when these two guys meet next season.
