When you are Brent Musburger--the Jay Leno/David Letterman of sports broadcasting--I suppose you can say pretty much anything you want while calling a game. If you want to talk about a quarterback's girlfriend and Mom are hot go right ahead.
If you want to bring her during another game--one that he is not even playing in--you go on with your bad self.
And he did.
With the Oregon/UCLA game coming to a close after the Ducks blew the Bruins out in the second half the guys in the booth needed something interesting to talk about--so they started talking Heisman and A.J. McCarron came up.
I'll concede that A.J. should be in the conversation, but he is far from being the best football player in the country. Yes, he has done some great work over the last couple seasons but it doesn't matter in regards to this year's Heisman Uncle Brent.
He is totally right about Katherine Webb though. This woman could make a root canal sexy.
