Texas May Have An Opening With Nick Saban After All

Texas may be looking for a new coach at the end of the season. If so, the popular choice is Nick Saban and the Alabama fans may help make that happen.

Some teams have been having attendance issues of late--even the defending national champions. You would think that fans would be behind the Alabama football team having made winning the national championship a habit. Instead it is not unusual for the student section to be almost empty by time the fourth quarter starts.

This makes Head Coach Nick Saban very unhappy.

At a recent press conference Saban expressed his displeasure with the fan base saying that they should stay for the entire game or not bother coming out at all. He was pretty nice about it, but you know it has to bug him if he is going to bring it up without anyone asking him about it. The school has even spent money on a campaign to encourage people to stay for the entire game--Play For Four, Stay For Four.

The only thing I can think of is that the Crimson Tide fans have become complacent....
