John Madden said it perfectly in the under-appreciated Keanu Reeves gridiron classic The Replacements when he said if you are going to do something you better be prepared to handle the celebration (or something like that).
Sunday against New England Marcus Thigpen was glad to do something great for his team and even had no problem celebrating with the fans--but they just didn't want to let him go.

After scoring the go-ahead touchdown for the team he went to celebrate with some fans, but they refused to let go of him even if it meant spilling beer in order to hold onto him and pound on him some more.
Lucky for him one of his teammates was around and helped him get away!
