Someone Finally Stops--Well, Slows Down-- Browns WR Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon has been a man possessed of late; a force that has been unstoppable. A few weeks ago he did what no other wide receiver has ever done in NFL history by going for more than 200 yards receiving in back to back games. New England kept from 200+ receiving yards, but he still went for 185 all-purpose ones.

So could the Chicago Bears get it done? Could they shut down the hottest receiver in the NFL?

Almost.

For the majority of the game the Bears defense was able to shut him down. Up until his 43 yard touchdown reception to close the gap late in the game he had only two catches after being targeted nine times. So while they were able to keep him under wraps they were unable to keep him out of the end zone.

So yeah, they sort of shut him down, but not completely.
