Houston Rockets Make History Twice in Epic Loss to Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday Night

Making history is usually pretty cool. It's nice to know that something you did is going to go down in the books for fans to enjoy later and future players to strive to beat. That is, if what you did was good. If it's bad you can't wait for someone else to do worse than you.

Thursday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder the Rockets had a taste of both.

From Bleacher Report
In the first half these guys could do no wrong. Shot after shot was getting drained--three pointers, dunks, layups, jump shots, free throws. To call them en fuego would be an understatement. We are talking 73 points in one half! It was easily the most of the season and third most of all time.

Than the second half struck-- hace frio.

Fans went from the high of scoring like wildfire to the horror of a meltdown of epic proportions--19 points in the second half. Yes, just 19; ten in the third and nine in the fourth.

It was the biggest point differential in league history at 54 points.

This is going to be a hard one to live down.
