Houston Rockets Twitter Account Trolls Itself Following Epic Meltdown Against Thunder

When you play a game like the one the Houston Rockets played Thursday night you should expect to hear about it from folks. With the way that people talk about anyone and anything online going from a season high for the league--73 points--to an epic low of just 19 in the second half.

They lost of course.

I must say I am surprised at how tame it is on Twitter (as of 2:53 AM ET). Maybe that's because the team already zinged itself:

First half = Godfather 1 & 2. Second half = Godfather 3.

I'd say that says it all (yes, the third Godfather was that bad; if you've never seen those movies rent them immediately--just I and II though). Perhaps it wasn't the team's fault though. It appears that one end of the court had a basket that was not too fond of three-pointers.

One basket had 18-of-30 3-pointers made on it. The other basket had 0-of-29 3-pointers made on it.

After an epic breakdown like that the team is going to come out guns blazing in search of redemption the next time they step on the court (Milwaukee on Saturday).
