Johnny Manziel Not Making Any Fans in Seattle

Last week it was the Texas A&M Football Twitter feed that zinged the Seattle Seahawks fan base. This week it's the team's soon to be former quarterback, Johnny Manziel.

Manziel may have sworn of Twitter for the time being, but much like the last time he did so that didn't exclude other forms of social media, i.e. Instagram. On Championship Sunday he posted the above picture to his Instagram page with the following message:

REAL 12th man #GIGEM

In a way Manziel is right. The Aggies do have the rights to the name and have been using it for decades, but in 2006 the Seahawks agreed to pay a licensing fee to the Aggies so they could use it as well.

This, like all other trash talk, really doesn't matter and succeeds in doing only one thing. Whoever Manziel ends up playing for will be in for a real treat if they play in Seattle next season--because you know the Seahawks 12th Man will not forget the slight.
