Kobe Bryant and Rajon Rondo Exchange Uncomplimentary Pleasantries: They're Both A-Holes.

When we dislike someone we will often refer to them by something other than their name, and usually not something that they want to be called. So when Kobe Bryant referred to Rajon Rondo as an a-hole Friday night you would think he was hating on Rondo.

But he wasn't.

When the Black Mamba called Rondo an a-hole he actually meant it as a compliment. How? Well--it's all in how he used it (just listen):



Or if you don't feel like listening the key part is this: From what I understand he’s an asshole, like me.

So of course when Kobe does that you know reporters are chomping at the bit to tell Rondo so they can see how he reacts. The Celtics guard takes it all in stride and pretty much how it was intended--a compliment.



He of course threw in a zinger of his own in the process:

"That's a great compliment, coming from Kobe. I feel the same way about him."
