NFL Makes BS Call; Richard Sherman Fined $7875 for Actions at End of NFC Championship

After the world has had all week to talk about it and finally get over it the NFL has given us a reason to rehash Richard Sherman's rant at the end of the NFC Championship. Why? The league has fined him $7875 for taunting and unsportsmanlike conduct.

Officially the fine is for approaching Michael Crabtree at the conclusion of the final play and his actions at that time.

What a load of crap! All Sherman did at the end of the game was try to shake Crabtree's hand and say 'helluva game.' There is nothing wrong with that and the NFL even has proof that was all he did. If anything, Crabtree should have been for shoving Sherman in the face.

This is the NFL's way of trying to slap him on the wrist for his post game rant, but since the game was over they have to pretend the fine was for something else. It would be nice if the NFL was just honest about it and fined him for his crazy interviews, but wait--they can't.

Yes, ladies and gentleman, the No Fun League is at it again.
