If the crazy performance the Stanford band made at the Rose Bowl wasn't enough proof that smart kids can be really, really weird sometimes this promotional clip for an upcoming basketball game should do the trick.
It's not just any game; it's a chance to end the undefeated reign of a conference rival so it does have the makings of a pretty big game for the un-ranked Stanford team. So it is easy to see why they would want to promote the game--it's just the way they went about doing it.
The Tree looks like a punk.
If the idea is to say they are going to harass the Wildcats at every turn than mission accomplished, but with the way the world is sensitive to bullying these days you would think these smart kids would have come up with a better idea.
