The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are Headed to the Super Bowl--aka the Marijuana Bowl

Ask anyone that has ever played any sort of organized, competition and if they didn't have a superstition of some kind themselves they know someone that did. With that in mind you have to wonder if there will be a politician or two that will look see a correlation between the two NFL teams from the states that legalized marijuana this year and making it to the Super Bowl?

Or should we say the Marijuana Bowl?

There has been talk that the NFL may be considering lifting the ban on marijuana in the future; perhaps when it becomes time to renegotiate the collective bargaining agreement.

Rumor has Goodell thinking about lifting the ban for teams in states that have legalized it, but as things stand right now even though players for the Broncos and Seahawks can legally buy it (in their home states only of course) it is against the rules for them to smoke it. If they do and get caught they risk getting suspended and losing out on a few game checks.

It would make sense if there was a little smoking going on in Seattle. Pete Carroll's approach is all about positive vibes and everyone being happy. With the eclectic and verbose group of individuals he has on that team it would sure explain how Carroll is able to keep everyone cool and on the same page!
