Broncos WR Wes Welker Makes Cancer Patient's Day and Autograph's Her Head [PHOTO]

Wes Welker didn't shine as well as the Broncos would have hoped last season, but that hasn't stopped him from jumping head fist in to the community and doing what he can to make a difference. Recently he was a part of a celebrity chef cooking event at Children's Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.

While there he made one young lady's day by giving her an autograph--but not in the usual spot.

Her name is Delaney Clements, and the 11-year old is fighting stage 4 neuroblastoma. Chemo treatments caused her to go bald, but at this event she decided to use that in her favor and collect some autographs from Welker and some of the other celebrity chefs in attendance.

 

So far she is talking like she is not going to wash her head (understandable; don't want to lose them right after getting them). Nice idea, but we all know it will never work.

 

Hopefully Welker and the rest of the celebs signed something besides her head as well.
