Former USC Great Matt Leinart Reduceed to Being a Glorified Paper Boy Now? [PHOTO]

At one time Matt Leinart was the man. He was the hottest quarterback in college football, his team was winning game after game, for some odd reason the ladies liked him, and he was staring millions in NFL dollars in the face. But than he actually tried to play in the NFL, and--well, things didn't go very well.

He might not be done just yet, but if he is the man is playing it smart by snatching up work while there are still some people that care who he was.

Who would want an often-injured bust of an NFL quarterback to endorse them? Turns out a local newspaper--The Orange County Register--still finds some value in his face and name. They aren't dumb about it though.

Notice how they don't acknowledge his NFL career at all.

If he throws papers like he did footballs in the NFL this job might not last long either. People will only put up with their papers being in the bushes and everywhere else but where you want it.

Leinart did make it in to camp with the Buffalo Bills last season, but was cut after one game. I don't think he has officially retired yet so maybe we'll see him holding a clipboard for someone this fall (just not any team I actually like please).
