Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Not a Dirty, Naughty Old Man After All

Ever since he came in to the league Jerry Jones has been a magnet for attention; some positive, but much of it not so much. One of the latest scandals had the 72-year old business man painted in a pretty negative light. After pictures of him hanging out with a stripper young enough to be his granddaughter were leaked he was accused of sexually assaulting the stripper.

Go ahead. Shake your head, but if you think this is the end of Jerry Jones you're wrong. The suit has been dismissed.

According to early reports the lawsuit had been settled via a mediator making it appear as if Jones had settled out of court with her. Doing so would of course imply that he was guilty in some way, shape or form. Why settle if you did nothing wrong, right? As it turns the case was dismissed by the judge.

Jones' attorneys were happy about this of course. They released a statement saying as much and stating that the allegations were false. While that very well may be the case that had nothing to do with the dismissal.

The statue of limitations had run out.

So--was/is Jerry Jones a dirty old dog? We may (hopefully) never find out.
