T.Y. Hilton Falls One Yard Short of Tying Indianapolis Colts Single-Game Receiving Record [GIF]

If T.Y. Hilton could he would play the Texans five or six times a season. It seems that whenever he plays Houston he has an awesome day. Thursday night's performance was no different. It wasn't just any old awesome day. Yes, he set a new career high, but he actually did a lot more than that.

He nearly set a new Colts single-game receiving record.

By the end of the first quarter he cleared a 100-yard day and by time the first half was over he had cleared a new career best. When all was said and done Hilton had pulled in nine receptions for 223 yards and one touchdown.

One short of the single game record of 224 set by Raymond Berry against Washington back in 1957.

Slacker (just kidding of course).
