The MLB post season is chock full of moments and picking just one to call the best should be pretty hard--but not this season. No, this season it is really pretty easy. It involves the Kansas City Royals of course. After decades of losing, sweeping the ALDS and ALCS to make it to the World Series is too incredible for words. The Royals will undoubtedly win some ESPY's.
But to pick one play? Alex Gordon made it easy in Game Four of the ALCS Wednesday:
How can you not love the moment when he lifted his glove up to show the umpires he made the catch? Awesome!
If there has ever been a moment that personified grit, determination, love of the game, and a never say die attitude it was this (definitely ESPY worthy as well).
