WATCH: Orediggers WR Diamond Gillis Hauls in the Best Catch of the College Football Season to Date

A wide receiver by the name of Diamond Gillis made what very well could be the best catch in a college football game this season Thursday night, and chances are pretty high that no one saw it. No, it wasn't because of the Jets/Patriots game or the Pitt/Virgina Tech one. It's because he plays for the Colorado School of Mines (the Oredigggers; Division II). 

Yes, his name is Diamond. Yes, he goes to a school that specializes in mines.

We've seen some great catches this season, but I don't think any can compare to coming over the back and snagging a ball that was going to hit the defensive back near the bottom of his number--and he did without getting a pass interference call!
