Kansas Punter Forgets That He is a Football Player During Punt [GIF]

We don't expect much out of Kansas on the gridiron. We know they suck. We do however expect them to actually look like they understand the basics of how the game is supposed to be played. For example, if you are the punter and the ball goes over your head you are supposed to do two things: (1) jump in an attempt to catch it and (2) recover the ball.

You don't just stand around and watch while the other team jumps on the ball.

This might be the only time that a team from one of the power conferences wishes it had an Ivy League player on the squad. Yale's punter clearly knows what to do when it gets a little hairy and isn't afraid to do it.

Can't say the same about the Kansas kid.
