Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell Becomes First Back To Run For 200+ With Big Night on MNF

Lately most of the attention in Pittsburgh has been given to Ben Roethlisberger and the passing game, but during Monday Night Football that was not the case at all. Since the Tennessee Titans did not have an answer for second year running back Le'Veon Bell the Steelers did the only sensible thing. They ran him, and then they ran him some more.

In the process he ended up having the single most productive game of his career while leading the team to a 27-24 win.

His five-yard plunge early in the fourth quarter brought the team within four, but his biggest contribution may very well have been during the team's final drive.

With  very game Titans offense chomping at the bit for one more chance the Steelers handed him the ball eight times. He gained 49 yards on those plays, but more importantly ate up the final seven minutes on the clock.

Tennessee couldn't score if they couldn't get back on the field so he made sure they didn't. In the end he finished the game with a new career high, 204 yards. He also became the first back in the NFL to record a 200+ yard game this season.

When he was told how good a night he had after the game he couldn't believe it.

That's alright. All he has to do is head to Twitter and ask his fantasy owners. They'll be more than happy to tell him.
