Aaron Rodgers Could Snatch a Record From Tony Romo With a Big Game Sunday

Few things are an absolute give in the NFL, but it is safe to say that Aaron Rodgers kid in Green Bay is pretty darn good. Down in Dallas that Tony Romo guy isn't half-bad either. Yeah, he may have a hard time getting to the post-season and has been the reason behind the need for many of his comebacks in the past, but the man has put up some impressive stats.

Come Sunday if Rodgers is able to put up some pretty impressive stats he will take a record that currently belongs to Romo.

As it turns out, no one in the history of the league has thrown for as many yards in his first 100 games as Romo:

Should Rodgers pass for at least 293 yards Sunday he will take over the record from Romo. Chances are he will be able to do it too. So far this season Rodgers has thrown for more than that in six games, but he has also thrown for less than 200 in three times.

Working in his favor though will be his opponent. The Falcons are the worst pass defense in the league this season.

Rodgers already holds the mark for the best touchdown to interception ratio over the same span with 219 touchdown to just 54 interceptions for a ratio of 4.06 to 1. Donovan McNabb comes in a distant second with 2.13 to 1.
