"Marshawn is under scrutiny for a pain we've all felt, and we stepped in to help Beast Mode with great fitting, non-riding underwear,” the company said in a statement. “MeUndies empowers people to express themselves freely in the midst of any situation and eliminates the need to readjust down there."
I don't think his grab has anything to do with his underwear making him feel uncomfortable or riding up on him or any pain. If so he'd be grabbing somewhere else--but the companies heart is in the right place so that is okay.
MeUndies.com has some history with grasping on to controversial situations and using them for marketing purposes. Earlier in the season they tapped in to Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle's situation when he was arrested for stealing underwear and cologne (because he did not feel like paying for them).
