Plane Crash Delays Texas Tech-Kansas State Game

Tragedy struck Wednesday night and affected the start time of the K-State-Texas Tech game. No, no one had a heart attack or became severely ill in the locker rooms or anything like that. No, neither team was in a bus crash or anything like that either. In fact, nothing happened to either team or anyone involved with the game.

A plane crash knocked out the television tower and cutting off power so the game could not be broadcast and they had to delay the start of the game.

Word is that no one inside the station was hurt, but information about the people in the plane has been hard to come by:

Getting reports that a plane hit the transmission tower of @KCBD11 and that their HDTV tower was severed in two. KCBD is in Lubbock.
