Time for Dwight Howard to Really Earn His Ridiculous Paycheck

Dwight Howard was brought to Houston to complete the championship puzzle for the Rockets. If he can play up to the hype that could actually happen.

The regular season is winding down in the NBA and soon the second season will begin. Time for the superstars to shine on the NBA brightest stage. For the Houston Rockets that means it will be time for James Harden to keep doing what he’s been doing and for Dwight Howard to start earning his paycheck.

Howard has been hurt for a good chunk of the season this year including a 26-game stretch that he is still working his way back from. He returned last week, but the team has closely monitored his minutes over the last few games. Since his return he has played a total of 55 minutes spread out over three games. As a precaution the team held him out of Monday’s game against Toronto which the Rockets lost 99-96....
