Brandon Marshall Will Be Wearing No. 15 for the New York Jets

One of the biggest concerns for veteran players when they move teams late in their careers is not always who they are going to play with or what system they are going to be in. No, it's whether they are going to be able to wear the same number they have work for years and years. It was definitely on Brandon Marshall's mind when he was traded from the Chicago Bears to the New York Jets. There was just one problem.

Current Jets receiver Saalim Hakim already had No. 15.

Hakim said if Marshall could beat him in a foot race he could have it, but this is a guy that ran a 4.23 40-yard dash at this Pro Day in 2012. Chances are slim to none that Marshall could beat him. Hakim gave him another option though--pay him $25,000.

The Jets ahve not said what went down, but they have announced that Marshall will be wearing No. 15 next season in New York.
