Chip Kelly Causing a Shortage of Team Merchandise in the Philly Area

Philly fans are known for being fanatical in support of their team. With the new guys that have been added to their roster the future is looking good too. Like fans of any team there are probably plenty of folks that want to hit the local sporting good stores for merchandise featuring Sam Bradford or DeMarco Murray.

Many of those folks are probably having a hard time finding anything, and they have Eagles head coach Chip Kelly to thank for it.

Considering how he has not hesitated to trade anyone and rumors continue to persist that he may not be done moving personnel local retailers are nervous about ordering much merchandise since the player may get traded away at any time.
"I don't know what Chip Kelly is doing," Frank Sanders, the store manager of Lids Locker Room in the Cherry Hill Mall, was saying yesterday. "So, yeah, I'm a little nervous getting anything in here just yet."
As crazy as it seems it makes sense. Kelly has proven he is not afraid to pull the trigger on anyone. How upsetting would it be as a fan if you were to go out and get a brand new Sam Bradford jersey to find he is dealt the night of the draft to allow the Eagles to move up and take Marcus Mariota?

It would suck. Just imagine if you were a retail owner and you suddenly had a wrack full of jerseys that were suddenly worthless.
