WATCH: Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III Makes a New Friend in Bugs Bunny

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is not even close to being as popular now as he was a couple years ago when he was fresh out of college. That kind of thing is expected though when you play poorly or not at all because you are always injured. Rather than support their quarterback through thick and thin a lot of fans have abandoned him and lash out whenever they can.

The haters haven't shaken his faith in humanity though, and he said as much during an appearance with Bugs Bunny at Six Flags in Maryland.

He was there with Bugs as part of an anti-bullying campaign. He didn't want to be interviewed, but he had this to say to the couple hundred students in attendance:
"I have a general belief that people are good, and it's our job to re-instill it to people that humanity is good," Griffin said, via the team's website. "I'm here to tell you whether or not if you've been bullied or you have been a bully, you can change that and you can grow up to be whatever you want. I had dreams of becoming a professional athlete and now I'm standing before you as a starting quarterback in the NFL. And that is something I really appreciate."
