Turns Out Kurt Warner Was Just Messing With Everybody

On Wednesday a number of  athletes and celebrities  did there best to pull April Fool's pranks on fans. Some were pretty good (i.e. Good Bull Hunting getting Texas A&M fans to believe the new stadium was being reclassified as a restaurant making it illegal for the school's mascot to enter) to stupid (like Greg Jennings getting fans to stay up late to see an announcement that never came).

The problem with some guys is that their 'prank' was too believable to be recognized as a prank. When James Harrison posted a pic of himself with a face tattoo it didn't surprise anyone. Kurt Warner's was another example.

Late Wednesday morning Warner tweeted that someone had approached him to come in for a workout. Since there was so much talk about folks wanting him to come back last season it was not hard to imagine someone hitting up Wednesday when he was at Florida State's Pro Day reporting for the NFL Network.

No one did of course.

The only problem with your joke Kurt is that when you are generally looked upon as a good guy no one is going to think for a second that you are trying to pull a fast one.
