Eli Manning has high hopes for the New York Giants offense this coming season and righteously so. The Giants offense has stock piled a pretty impressive weapons with guys like Odell Beckham Jr and Victor Cruz leading the way. However, there is a strong chance that Eli and the Giants fans will have to wait a few weeks before they get to see the New York offense at full strength.
Why? Chances are good that Victor Cruz may not be ready to come back in time for Week One meaning he'll end up starting the season on the PUP list.

Cruz busted up his knee pretty good trying to pull down a pass in the end zone
against the Philadelphia Eagles last October. He ended up tearing his patellar tendon and had to have surgery.Cruz has been hard at work trying to rehab his knee which is why head coach Tom Coughlin is hopeful to have him ready by Week One.
Patellar tendons are notorious for taking a longtime to rehab, but with the injury occurring in October odds are in favor of Cruz being healthy enough to play come September. As long as there are no setbacks of course.
