WATCH: Rockets Josh Smith Follows Up Blake Griffin Block With a Dagger From Behind the Arc

When the Houston Rockets acquired Josh Smith there were many that wondered why. There were many that said it was not a good idea; that he wasn't worth the money and would not be a big help to the team. Those folks are loving him just as much as every other basketball in the city of Houston after the performance he had Thursday night. Thanks to his late game heroics the Rockets were able to overcome a double-digit fourth quarter deficit to force Game Seven in Houston on Sunday.

Incidentally, in Game 7s the home team wins 90 percent of the time.

The above block led to a Clippers rebound and another shot bu Chris Paul which he missed. Jason Terry got the board, and on the next possession for the Rockets Smith hit a dagger from behind the arc that every fan still at the Staples Center felt.
